Ann's Favorite Five

Ann loves sewing with variegated thread for embroidery and machine quilting. She has packaged her five favorite colors together with special machine needles and a page of thread tips; for you to give as a gift, or keep for yourself!

The thread is trilobal polyester, Rainbows from Superior Threads. This is a luscious, strong, shiny, fade resistant, decorative thread. The colors are:

• Red - a medium to dark red mix--Rose Garden
• Green - lime, bright, olive, darkgreen mix--Kailua
• Blue - clear blue, turquoise, cornflower and gray/blue mix--Nautica
• Yellow - yellow, amber, gold, deep gold mix--The Midas Touch
• Dark variegated - dark red, deep purple, rich green, marine blue mix-- Midnight Shadows

There is a package of Superior Threads Titanium size 14 topstitch machine needles to help the thread glide through the needle eye. Also included is a sheet of Ann's top thread tips, from her book, Coloring with Thread.
