Valentine With Ginkgoes
 Every year I make a small quilt to photograph for the front of my Valentine card. This one is for 2010. The lime green center is a striking contrast to the magenta heart with 3 embroidered ginkgoes scattered over the surface. The heart is outlined with iridescent red seed beads and a few bugle beads in a snowflake motif on the background. Heavy quilting covers the entire surface. The black corner pieces have a scallop pattern outlining the square with 2 leaves with scalloped edges in each corner in green thread.
