Red Fan with Water Lilies
 I’ve combined two of my favorite images in this quilt; fans and water lilies. Both come from a lifetime of summers at Winona Lake, Indiana. You will repeatedly find these images as you browse this website. A dark red fan is placed on a tan background. Laid on top of the fan are three white lilies and green pads which are all machine embroidered. Red bugle beads are scattered in stripes to suggest the ribs of a fan.
