Breaking My Rules
 This quilt was the result of a New Year's resolution to try something groundbreaking. Scraps from my quilt Celebration of Life were still lying around my studio, so I layered them onto a black background and fused them into position. The fan-like segments are heavily embroidered with variegated thread. The entire piece is unbound, leaving exposed raw edges. The surface is heavily machine quilted with an added sprinkling of yellow glass seed beads.Size: 40 x 35 inches Price: $1000.00 Additional Images
