Susan Up Close by Ann Fahl
This small quilt has a beautiful beaded center. It is loaded with dark iridescent beads, hand stitched in an irregular pattern. The petals of the black eyed susan are layered with several different fabrics in golden yellow, and heavily machine embroidered. The leaves are formed by just one layer of green tulle which has been embroidered with variegated green thread. This one is a small treasure!
