Color Mews by Ann Fahl
This little kitty is as colorful as a rainbow. Ann made this quilt for her 2007 appearance on TheQuiltShow.com. It is now a pattern with the same name. The silhouette is Oreo’s, with a few noticeable changes in her black and white color scheme. It was fun to play with the blocks of color on a purple cat. All of the pieces are held in place with a buttonhole stitch in a red, purple and orange variegated thread. The cat is set on a small background of yellow patchwork with a narrow fused border. The quilting is lots of fun, the quilt designs change in each color spot.
