Egyptian Bouquet by Ann Fahl
This tiny quilt is made from scraps of Egyptian Garden I. These stylized papyrus have violet buds, beaded with dark iridescent seed beads, and heavily embroidered. The machine quilting is whimsical and fun, changing thread color to match the background. There is delicate embroidery in variegated gold thread at the base of the plant. It is set on a hand painted background and trimmed with a lavender and cream stripe.
