Hearts and Trillium by Ann Fahl
An over sized red nine patch serves as the background for a large pink trillium and bud. They are surrounded by embroidered leaves stitched with 3 different variegated green threads. Hand sewn iridescent bugle beads are scattered across the background.
Each year I create a quilt for Valentine’s Day, this one is for 2011. I print it on the front of a card, and send them to all my friends instead of a Christmas card. The hearts can be found in the quilting patterns stitched with red variegated thread.
Green striped Boussac fabric for binding. New Legacy brand wool bat is used inside.
