This quilt is part of my ginkgo landscape series honoring those that lost their lives at Gettysburg PA. A quiet serene farmscape set in a ginkgo leaf shape. The viewer will see the quiet farm and the open fields surrounded with the dark stone walls of the area and wood fencing present at the time of the 1863 battle. In front are the graves and large cannon representing the horrific battle that killed about 60,000 soldiers during the Civil War. There must be a better way.
Fused, embroidered, appliquéd, colored pencil and machine quilted, Legacy brand wool batt inside.
