On the Water by Ann Fahl
A dramatic neon colored water lily is floating on the water. The flower is heavily machine embroidered on a hand dyed fabric by Sylvia Whitesides, IN. The impression of water is created by using slivers of fabric on the background, creating the impression of ripples on the surface.
