Beaded Landscape III by Ann Fahl
This little landscape was created on a hand painted fabric that was a gift to me from a quilter in Indiana. The mountainscape is framed on both sides with large embroidered trees. Beading outlines and details the mountains, stream and fields. Heavy quilting adds playful texture in shapes of leaves, shells and string of pearls. The edges are bound with a pastel stripe that repeats the blue, green, yellow and pastel orange in the central design.
