Celebration Fan II by Ann Fahl
A black fan rests on a solid white background bordered with a black and white print. The fan is embellished with brightly colored organic shapes that overlap each other. Iridescent seed beads are stitiched in tight clusters and thin trails which bend and twist around the negative spaces. Approximately 5000 beads are stitched on the in this manner. Designed especially for the Group 2000 Exhibit at the Anderson Art Center, Kenosha, WI.
