Triangles and Beads II by Ann Fahl
This quilt took two years to complete! It features a diamond shaped medallion of bright colored triangles which are surrounded by dark (almost black) triangles and squares. Iridescent bugle beads are stitched over the surface in a curved floral design which radiates out from the center. It is heavily quilted using variegated thread. The binding is a black fabric with narrow stripes.
This quilt is the subject of an article in "American Quilter Magazine" winter 2004 issue.
