Two Water Lilies by Ann Fahl
Two water lilies in yellow with coral centers are embroidered on a gray background. A semi-sheer fabric is laid over the lower 2/3s of the quilt to create the impression of water. One dragonfly, covered with metallic thread, flits overhead on this hot summer evening. Extensively machine embroidered and quilted.
I am particularly proud of this quilt because it was pictured in the February 2001 issue of Horticulture Magazine. It is important to me to have other interest groups, not just quilters enjoy my work.
