My Tea Kettle by Ann Fahl
Drinking tea is a soothing part of my day. As a child I drank tea with both of my grandmothers and my mother. They would always mix up a special blend of milk, hot tea and sugar for me, and they called it "French Tea." Now, just the thought of tea brings warmth and good memories into my day. I always enjoy a cup while watching Oprah in the afternoon. This tea kettle is made from hand dyed and painted fabric.The dotted stripe on the right edge, repeats the shape of the spout. The entire piece is fused and richly quilted by machine and bound with a green multi-colored stripe.
