Yellow Ginkgoes on Blue and Green by Ann Fahl
Large yellow ginkgo leaves are scattered across the surface of blue and green strip pieced blocks. Each leaf is heavily embroidered in either blue or green variegated thread. The background is heavily quilted in a repeated clamshell design with a blue, green and yellow variegated thread. The edges are bound with matching blue and green hand painted fabric. This quilt is pictured in Ann's book, Coloring with Thread. Now in a private collection.
