Beaded Improvisation IV by Ann Fahl
This small quilt is a rainbow of color. Many of the shapes are cut from hand dyed fabrics. They are fused on and embroidered with shiny threads. The composition is bound together by hand beading of iridescent beads sewn in dense pods and connected by thin strands of the same beads. This creates an interesting maze of color and sparkle. The border is a blue, green and black plaid and bound with a blue binding.
