ANN'S RECIPE FOR OATMEAL
In an oversized bowl mix together:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup milk
1/4 cup fruit (pineapple, blueberries,apple, raisins, strawberries, peaches etc.)
a small handful of walnuts or almonds
Microwave for 3 minutes. Sweeten to taste with brown sugar or sweetener. Makes one large serving. Let the cat lick the empty bowl!
If you look closely you can almost read this recipe on the quilt! Oreo sits on the floor each morning, waiting for me to finish my bowl of oatmeal. She licks it clean. If you have this each morning you will have more energy for your quilting.
Oreo, the title and the fruit are machine embroidered and the quilt is quilted by machine. Enjoy!
