Symphony of Color II by Ann Fahl
Some of my favorite images, the swan and water lily, rest on a backdrop of more triangles. Most of this quilt is scraps from Symphony of Color I.
The swan is covered with variegated thread to give realistic detail of feathers. The yellow triangles reflect the sun on the water. Two dragonflies are flying above the bird. The black and white striped inner border adds contrast to the watery scene. The edges are bound with a green and blue print.
