Ann was in the process of making a large coneflower quilt on orange. She was given so many orange squares by the members of the quilt art list, that she assembled the background for this quilt also.

Here Oreo is moving away from the viewer, with her tail held high! She is walking underneath oversized coneflowers in red, blue, yellow fabric, with an eye-popping green polka dot fabric for the centers. These flowers are leftovers from the other quilt as well.

The cat, flowers and leaves are machine embroidered in place, with a sprinkling of bugle beads on the ground. Oreo's shadow is blue tulle, that is layered over the leaves and stems. A border is suggested by elongated black ovals. Quilting is done in several different patterns over the surface of the quilt. The binding is a brightly colored multi-colored stripe.
